Comedi

Comedi is system for communicating with data acquisition devices on Linux. It includes more than 50 drivers for hundreds of devices from dozens of manufacturers.

GStreamer

GStreamer is an open-source media framework. Its power lies in taking components that perform simple actions on a media stream, and making it easy to create complex pipelines of these components. GStreamer is primarily used for audio and video, but since it is a modular system, plugins have been written to handle signals useful in scientific and engineering applications.

Swfdec

Swfdec is an open-source decoder and renderer of SWF files. It is a low-cost alternative for providing SWF functionality on embedded devices.
